Kadamakkudi...

Always felt like jumping off a running bus each time i pass a " kallu shappu" ( the local word for toddy shop), traveling through parts of Alapuzha and Kottyam. And that is not just to have a feast of the white "amrithu", but the spicy fish curry and the yummy tapioca.Just thought of writing about this when i shared some pics on FB today. A memorable trip to "Kadamakkudi shappu" in Ernakulam.It is surrounded by water on all three sides, a peninsula.The picture i have added will make it more unclouded. The smell of spice in the air adding more strength to the booze. Any more portrayal  would be counted at the bottom. I wish everyone gets a chance to dig into this real thrills and kicks of being at such a place.
