But, for the good...

"Get used to the bad and the ugly"..that may be the message from the heavens that split open the brains many a time..but then there is a twist..well, mom used to tell me that every story has an ending, good or bad according to what it deserves... and the good ones for sure are worth mentioning...the heroine here is an oldie..more than 80 years by the looks..
It was last Thursday, when i had to go to the nearby town Komarapalayam, with three of my friends for getting some cursed documents( which in this case is not worth mentioning). There is this 8 hour long power cut in Tamilnadu, which are in shifts and we were stuck up in the middle of one of these and had to wait for three hours..That was when the plan of going to the nearby "Bavani bridge" stroked us..so there we were and blessed as the sun was less angry that day..It was in the middle of discussions about the damn power cut, that we saw a small crowd on the other side of the bridge..We ran over, out of curiosity and the first thing we saw was two young men diving into the water to save an old women who, by the time was struggling..Thank god, the river was almost flow less and the young men were in full flow.."Suicide attempt", i heard from one of the ladies and i wonder why the heck she was smiling when she said this.."may be,.. her children forced her out of home" said another. The one thing i understand is that there are always a million reasons to be said in such a situation which i felt like dung in the ears..And at last for all the good in the world, the lady was saved..Then, there was all the scenes like in a movie- police, ambulance and that made the crowd  dissolve fearing questions from the authorities..
"And then, the scenes came back to normal" for pete's sake, would be the last thing i feel like saying because i felt it was always normal. What made me say this was the reaction of the people who saw it with no less amazement than an interesting drama ..Two ladies, washing clothes by the river bank, who i assume were the first people to see this considering the location, had not moved their feet.. They were still busy with their work even when the two young men were fighting in the muddy waters to save the soon-to-be-erased life...''Bloody cold", that is to be called..But after all, when i turned my attention to the young men who breathed satisfaction, i knew that there is still hope on this green planet......

the beauty of the blind side...

I knew, i would definitely share a blog post when i was half way watching "The Blind Side"...A definite barnburner...I curse all the reasons which curtained me from watching this one till this day...My mind tells me i should not pit stop to screenplay all those descriptions that i usually spit out in my posts, but drop a "WATCH IT" mail in the letter box....

BLUE

Once out of bed, felt like i was knocked out on the count of ten when my ears finally adjusted to  the news of barca’s exit from the champion’s league. And where on earth is a worst place for this to happen than the glorious Camp Nou? I know that a million fans like me(even though a gunner, the respect for Barcelona never ends) are hit by a ton of bricks having to bear the pain of a deserving victory slip off the hands in front of the home crowd..Well it is football...No matter if you are undoubtedly; the best team in the world, making others eat the bitter Nou Camp grass. There are times when 74% of possession can mean nothing but blinking number shit. Or was it god in for Terry in the 37th minute?...for all these never ending crap, let’s not blame Messi , but give a toast to Ashly Cole..accept the nuts and bolts....out of the blue it came...the North London dreams...

Deserving hold...

"The Artist" for sure was artistic..the change from silent movies to talking movies depicted with all fiber. A film with a tremendous importance to the facial expressions, there doesn't seem anything degrading the role of  Mr.Valentino and Mrs.Miller. A story told of the old in the old does seem impressing. Read a blog by Shobhaa De in which she describes the movie as boring and gives credit to the dog for its unorthodoxy. I think "101 Dalmatians" would be the one for her..Seeing Dujardin on the screen , i think, gave everyone an idea about a star of the pre-world war time..A black and white"ie in the colored time may seem different, but for the veins and arteries of performance, noting seems far gone....

being Garang...

Out of bed at a time that seems pretty early when looking at the normal, thoughts drove past the Siachen adventures that is going to make the day for me...first of all, there is this talk-show called the farewell..It might just seem awkward when i mention it this way because it is one of the best occasions for the majority...but unfortunately, not in my dramatic college.. what made me use the word talk-show is the experience i had when i attended this anti-glamorous function conducted for my seniors last year and i  had to give a speech representing my department listing our experiences with the seniors..tried hard to make it milk and honey and for Pete's sake,it succeeded...i am bewildered by the thought of what today's situation would be..all those speeches which i expect to arrive makes me think of John Garang, an African leader who used to speak 8 hours nonstop....God bless.....

SUN('s)DAY.....

Now,going back a day.........the charisma of the sunday mass did not stay long. Once out of the church, i was a victim of the anger of the sun. A normal sunny day, it might be called in this part of the ashy world. But i would call it "burning", concidering the fact that I am from the hilly regions of Idukki district in Kerala, where the climate is often a wealth. The green ,the breeze, the chirping of the birds, the smell of just out air....all seemed far and left behind at home, but the feel of the fireworks inside the head. The walk back was like the refugees across the dark continent..To hit the shower was the most convincing thing ever and sent steam out of me ..Lunch was a confusing choice as the stomach never said no to fluids and that barely left space for some rice..the evening gave me life..Was on the phone talking to an angel..... i think that would be the best way to describe her..the allotment certainly had magic...
And then there is this..i had been waiting a long time to watch "moneyball" and it finally happened saturday night...top class by all standards..and did some search about billy beane on google to add up to what i had seen........."watch it" i cry.....
